Satay Udang

Ingredients

  • 1 Small Red Jalapeno -- sliced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic -- sliced
  • 2 Teaspoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Kecap Manis
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Pound Medium Shrimp -- peeled
  • Skewers
Directions
  1. In food processor, blend chili, garlic, brown sugar, lemon juice, salt and kecap manis.
  2. It should form a paste.
  3. Tranfer to a bowl and stir in olive oil.
  4. Let shrimp marinate in the paste for 15 minutes.
  5. Thread shrimp on the skewers.
  6. Make sure that some marinade clings to them.
  7. Grill over hot coals or under a broiler for 5 minutes.
